Spice Market Restaurant
The Spice Market Restaurant is the premier restaurant
in the resort. Located in the main resort complex,
it is built of timber with rugged wooden beam ceilings,
ceiling fans and subtle lighting. Along its walls
are small alcoves with antique handicrafts and a
variety of spices in jars, showing off Malaysia's
rich culture. New designs for furniture & fittings
and natural material such as mengkuang or pandanaus
woven mats were recently introduced to enhance further
Pelangi's kampung or village concept. It is spacious,
luxuriously casual and relaxing.
It serves great choices of local food from Malay,
Chinese and Indian cuisine as well as international
cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A nightly
international buffet dinner is also available for
added choice. Food and Beverage promotions are also
held with specialties served during festive seasons
such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Easter,
National Day, Deepavali and Christmas.
Open daily from 7.00am to 11.00pm, the restaurant
seats 125 persons inside and 100 at the bougainvillea
filled open-air terrace.
Niyom Thai Restaurant
At the Niyom Thai Restaurant, the aroma of tantalising
Thai dishes will tease and tempt your palate. Also
located in the main resort with an overview of the
beautiful Horizon swimming pool, the restaurant
is frequently patronised by guests with a penchant
for exotic Thai cuisine. A wide range of authentic
Thai dishes is available including savoury appetisers,
tempting salads, soups, vegetarian dishes, meat
and seafood specialities as well as mouth-watering
desserts specially prepared by our own Thai Chef
hailed from Thailand.
Fresh seafood such as lobsters, tiger prawns and
garoupa among others is available and prepared according
to your taste. A stop not to be missed!
The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 6.30pm
to 11.00pm. It has a total seating capacity of 125
persons, inside and on the terrace.
Tepian Cenang/Cenang Beach
Bar
Located by the resort's palm fringed beachfront
with a panoramic view of the neighbouring islands,
the Tepian Cenang outlet provides a refreshing alternative
venue for dinner. Raised on a platform about a meter
above ground level as well as with small wooden
platforms nearby the sea, this outlet by the sea
serves popular BBQ delights for dinner and seats
200 persons comfortably surrounding an original
fisherman boat transformed as a bar.
Opens daily from 7.30pm - 11.00pm. You will be entertained
and invited to dance with soothing music by our
live band and for sports lovers, pool table and
sports satellite TV channels are also available.
For a romantic dining experience, Tepian Cenang
Restaurant provides alternative venues as guests
will have a choice of dining inside the restaurant
or on the sundecks by the seaside. Nearby is the
Cenang Beach Bar serving cold beers and exciting
cocktails over a mesmerising sunset.
Open daily from 12.00 noon to 11.00 pm, it seats
about 30 persons. Happy Hours are available from
5.30pm-7.30pm.
